Dave's Chicken Lemonaise

This Recipe Makes: 4-6 servings. I've doubled this successfully for larger parties!

3Whole chicken breasts
aprox 3/4 cupMayonnaise
1/2 cupBread Crumbs
5 tbspsMargarine
1/2 cupfresh chopped onion
3 tbspsflour
1 1/2 cupswater
3chicken flavored bouillon cubes
1/4 cupchopped parsley
3 tbspslemon juice (I use 5. Gives it more zing! DM)
Use extra mayonnaise or bread crumbs if needed to coat the chicken.


Brush chicken with mayonnaise, coat with bread crumbs. In skillet melt 3 tablespoons of margarine over medium heat. Cook chicken, 3 pieces at a time. 15 minutes or until tender, keep warm. In saucepan saute' onion in 2 tablespoons of margarine. Stir in flour until well blended. Gradually stir in water. Add bouillon cube, parsley and lemon juice. Cook and stir until mixture boils. Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise; cook and stir until hot. Spoon sause over chicken

This goes great with chicken flavored Rice-a-Roni and your favorite veggie!
